Installing the RD820II Receiver
1. Plug in crystal.
2. Plug in all the servos/ESC. Pay attention to the polarity of the wire. Please consult the labels on the case for the channel number and polarity.
Caution: If the polarity of the plug is wrong, it will damage the servos/ESC.
3. If not using an ESC with a built‐in battery‐eliminator circuit (BEC), plug a 4.8V battery/switch harness into any unused channel. If you are using all the channels for servos, use a Y harness to connect the battery and servo to one channel.
4. Wrap receiver in foam rubber to isolate it from vibration.
5. Secure the receiver in aircraft with a rubber band or hook‐and‐loop fastener.
6. Unwind the antenna fully. Do not coil or cut the antenna.

Quick range checking
Fully collapse the transmitter, antenna and move the transmitter sticks continuously. Ask someone to watch the servos to see whether the receiver has lost the signal. If the receiver does not lose the signal until you are at least 90m (270feet) away from it, it passes the quick range check.
Rigorous range checking
Your local environment can affect the range of the receiver, so quick range checking may not reflect the actual range correctly. If you suspect range problems, perform a rigorous range check.
1. Place the receiver on a non‐metallic surface (for example, a wooden bench) which is at least 2 feet (60cm) off the ground.
2. Fully extend the antenna of the receiver and fix it vertically. Don’t let it touch the ground.
3. Connect one servo to channel 1.
4. Fully extend the antenna of the transmitter.
5. Turn on the transmitter and then turn on the receiver.
6. Walk away from the receiver while moving the transmitter sticks continuously. Ask someone watch the servo and note any loss of control.
Caution: The range depends on the power of the transmitter, so use a freshly charged transmitter battery. Range checking must be done in an open field to avoid environmental interference. Note that the range in the air will be longer than on the ground.

Why a Synthesized Receiver?
Synthesized receivers get rid of the inconvenience of using a crystal. Receivers with a crystal still use the technology of the 1970’s where the user has to change the crystal to switch to a different frequency. Users are either stuck to one frequency or have to bring more (expensive) crystals to the flying field. In addition, every time the crystal is changed there is a chance of damaging the receiver.
With a synthesized receiver, all you need to do is push the button to switch to any channel you are transmitting at.
With Corona’s technology in developing and manufacturing of R/C products, the RP8D1, 8 channels Dual conversion receiver ,becomes the smallest in the world. But do not only focus on its small size. Its high performance will also surprise you!
RP8D1’s Features
1. You can switch the frequency freely with the RP8D1 8 CH dual conversion synthesized receiver.
2. The 'one button’ function makes it extremely easy to change frequency.
3. Despite the small size, the receiving range reaches as far as 1 mile!
4. The dual ceramic IF filters ensure ultra narrow selectivity, and can reject adjacent channel interference effectively.
5. The RP8D1 can identify the shift polarity of the transmitter (FUTABA, JR) automatically.
6. DSP technology filters noise intelligently and eliminates glitches effectively.
7. Failsafe functions to put servos in a predetermined position in case of lost signal reception.
Set up process
1. Turn on transmitter with the antenna extended
2. Power up the receiver. The receiver LED will flash 2 times quickly
3. Press the scan button on the receiver for 2 seconds，The LED will flash 3 times meaning the receiver is ready for the set up process.
4. Press the button on the receiver two times ,the receiver should blink quickly then light on .Now the receiver is ready for use .
Mode I – Short lit followed by a short dark period, repeated 3 times
Mode II - Long lit followed by a long dark period, repeated 3 times
Mode III - Short lit followed by a long dark period, repeated 3 times
Mode I sequence will repeat 3 times. Pressing the button in this mode will start the frequency locking process. If the button is not pressed, mode II will be entered.
Mode II sequence will repeat 2 times. Pressing the button in this mode will disable the failsafe function. If the button is not pressed, mode III will be entered.
Mode III sequence will repeat 2 times. Pressing the button in this mode will enable the failsafe function. If the button is not pressed, mode I will be entered again.
If no button is pressed these 3 modes will repeat 10 times, then end with 2 short LED flashes.
Mode I : locking to the transmitter frequency
1. Turn on the transmitter with the antenna extended.
2. Turn on the receiver. The LED will blink 2 times. If the LED remains lit then the receiver is receiving correct commands from a transmitter. If the LED goes out then the receiver is not receiving any correct commands, in which case you should set it up again...
3. To set it up, press the scan button for 2 seconds, then release it. The LED blinks 3 times now (should it blink 2 times, then press the button again for 2 seconds). While in mode I, press the button shortly. If the LED begins to blink quickly it means that the receiver is searching for a valid signal. Wait for 2-3 seconds for the search to complete.
Once the receiver is locked to the transmitter, the LED will flash 2 times and then remain lit. If the LED goes out again, check the transmitter.
4. After the receiver has locked, if you don’t change frequency, the receiver will work whenever you connect it to the power. No need to relock.
Caution: when locking your receiver, please ensure only your own transmitter is working and put your receiver close enough to your transmitter.
Mode II : disabling the failsafe
1. Turn on the transmitter with the antenna extended.
2. Turn on the receiver. The LED will blink 2 times. If the LED remains lit then the receiver is receiving correct commands from a transmitter.
3. To set it up, press the scan button for 2 seconds, then release it. The LED blinks 3 times now (should it blink 2 times, then press the button again for 2 seconds). While in mode II, press the button shortly to start the failsafe disabling process.
4. The LED will flash 2 times and then remain lit. The transmitter now does not control the receiver and the failsafe has been disabled. You must now restart the receiver.
Mode III : enabling the failsafe
1. Turn on the transmitter with the antenna extended.
2. Turn on the receiver. The LED will blink 2 times. If the LED remains lit then the receiver is receiving correct commands from a transmitter.
3. Adjust the sticks and switches on the transmitter to the position that you feel will best protect your aircraft in the event of a loss of signal. Typically the throttle is decreased and a slight elevator input is required to maintain a controlled glide slope. You should notice as you set the sticks and switches that the receiver is responding indicating the transmitter and receiver are synchronized.
4. To set it up, press the scan button for 2 seconds, then release it. The LED blinks 3 times now (should it blink 2 times, then press the button again for 2 seconds). While in mode III, press the button shortly to start the failsafe enabling process.
5. The LED will flash 2 times and then remain lit. The transmitter now does not control the receiver and the failsafe has been enabled. You must now restart the receiver.
During this setting step do not turn off the transmitter. Otherwise the receiver will not record the position of sticks and switches and it will not retain a failsafe setting. Should this occur you will notice the LED flashing twice and then going dark indicating that you will have to start the process over.
Caution:
1. Restart the receiver when the set up process of disabling or enabling the failsafe is completed.
2. While in Mode I, Mode II or Model III you can cut power to cancel the setting process. Do not cut power in the process of locking receiver, disabling failsafe or enabling failsafe. Otherwise your receiver may be damaged.
3. After enabling failsafe, please readjust the transmitter settings of sticks and switches for the correct flight conditions.
Installing the receiver
1. Plug in all the servos/ESC. Pay attention to the polarity of the connectors. Please consult the labels on the case for the channel numbers and polarity.
Caution: If the polarity of the plugs is wrong, it can damage the servos/ESC.
2. If not using an ESC with a built in battery eliminator circuit (BEC), plug a 4.8V battery/switch harness into any unused channel. If you are using all the channels for servos, use a Y harness to connect the battery and servo to 1 channel.
3. Wrap the receiver in foam to isolate it from vibration and secure it in the aircraft with for instance a rubber band.
4. Unwind the antenna fully. Do not coil or cut the antenna.
Warning: The real control range as much as the reliability will be influenced when the power supply for receiver is under normal level or power supply not stable. In order to fly the model more stably and reliably, we recommend the use of CP01 power stabilizer. Connect the power stabilizer to any free channel of the receiver, you will have a more comfortable and happy remote controlling.

With Corona’s technology in developing and manufacturing of R/C products, the RP6D1, 6 channels Dual conversion synthesized receiver, becomes the smallest in the world. But do not only focus on its small size. Its high performance will also surprise you!
RP6D1’s Features
1. You can switch the frequency freely with the RP6D1 6 channels dual conversion synthesized receiver.
2. The 'one button’ function makes it extremely easy to change frequency.
3. Despite the small size, the receiving range reaches as far as 1 mile!
4. The dual ceramic IF filters ensure ultra narrow selectivity, and can reject adjacent channel interference effectively.
5. The RP6D1 can identify the shift polarity of the transmitter (FUTABA, JR) automatically.
6. DSP technology filters noise intelligently and eliminates glitches effectively.
7. Failsafe function to put servos in a predetermined position in case of lost signal reception.
Set up process
1. Turn on transmitter with the antenna extended
2. Power up the receiver. The receiver LED will flash 2 times quickly
3. Press the scan button on the receiver for 2 seconds，The LED will flash 3 times meaning the receiver is ready for the set up process.
4. Press the button on the receiver two times ,the receiver should blink quickly then light on .Now the receiver is ready for use .
Mode I – Short lit followed by a short dark period, repeated 3 times
Mode II - Long lit followed by a long dark period, repeated 3 times
Mode III - Short lit followed by a long dark period, repeated 3 times
Mode I sequence will repeat 3 times. Pressing the button in this mode will start the frequency locking process. If the button is not pressed, mode II will be entered.
Mode II sequence will repeat 2 times. Pressing the button in this mode will disable the failsafe function. If the button is not pressed, mode III will be entered.
Mode III sequence will repeat 2 times. Pressing the button in this mode will enable the failsafe function. If the button is not pressed, mode I will be entered again.
If no button is pressed these 3 modes will repeat 10 times, then end with 2 short LED flashes.
Mode I : locking to the transmitter frequency
1. Turn on the transmitter with the antenna extended.
2. Turn on the receiver. The LED will blink 2 times. If the LED remains lit then the receiver is receiving correct commands from a transmitter. If the LED goes out then the receiver is not receiving any correct commands, in which case you should set it up again...
3. To set it up, press the scan button for 2 seconds, then release it. The LED blinks 3 times now (should it blink 2 times, then press the button again for 2 seconds). While in mode I, press the button shortly. If the LED begins to blink quickly it means that the receiver is searching for a valid signal. Wait for 2-3 seconds for the search to complete.
Once the receiver is locked to the transmitter, the LED will flash 2 times and then remain lit. If the LED goes out again, check the transmitter.
4. After the receiver has locked, if you don’t change frequency, the receiver will work whenever you connect it to the power. No need to relock.
Caution: when locking your receiver, please ensure only your own transmitter is working and put your receiver close enough to your transmitter.
Mode II : disabling the failsafe
1. Turn on the transmitter with the antenna extended.
2. Turn on the receiver. The LED will blink 2 times. If the LED remains lit then the receiver is receiving correct commands from a transmitter.
3. To set it up, press the scan button for 2 seconds, then release it. The LED blinks 3 times now (should it blink 2 times, then press the button again for 2 seconds). While in mode II, press the button shortly to start the failsafe disabling process.
4. The LED will flash 2 times and then remain lit. The transmitter now does not control the receiver and the failsafe has been disabled. You must now restart the receiver.
Mode III : enabling the failsafe
1. Turn on the transmitter with the antenna extended.
2. Turn on the receiver. The LED will blink 2 times. If the LED remains lit then the receiver is receiving correct commands from a transmitter.
3. Adjust the sticks and switches on the transmitter to the position that you feel will best protect your aircraft in the event of a loss of signal. Typically the throttle is decreased and a slight elevator input is required to maintain a controlled glide slope. You should notice as you set the sticks and switches that the receiver is responding indicating the transmitter and receiver are synchronized.
4. To set it up, press the scan button for 2 seconds, then release it. The LED blinks 3 times now (should it blink 2 times, then press the button again for 2 seconds). While in mode III, press the button shortly to start the failsafe enabling process.
5. The LED will flash 2 times and then remain lit. The transmitter now does not control the receiver and the failsafe has been enabled. You must now restart the receiver.
During this setting step do not turn off the transmitter. Otherwise the receiver will not record the position of sticks and switches and it will not retain a failsafe setting. Should this occur you will notice the LED flashing twice and then going dark indicating that you will have to start the process over.
Caution:
1. Restart the receiver when the set up process of disabling or enabling the failsafe is completed.
2. While in Mode I, Mode II or Model III you can cut power to cancel the setting process. Do not cut power in the process of locking receiver, disabling failsafe or enabling failsafe. Otherwise your receiver may be damaged.
3. After enabling failsafe, please readjust the transmitter settings of sticks and switches for the correct flight conditions.
Installing the receiver
1. Plug in all the servos/ESC. Pay attention to the polarity of the connectors. Please consult the labels on the case for the channel numbers and polarity.
Caution: If the polarity of the plugs is wrong, it can damage the servos/ESC.
2. If not using an ESC with a built in battery eliminator circuit (BEC), plug a 4.8V battery/switch harness into any unused channel. If you are using all the channels for servos, use a Y harness to connect the battery and servo to 1 channel.
3. Wrap the receiver in foam to isolate it from vibration and secure it in the aircraft with for instance a rubber band.
4. Unwind the antenna fully. Do not coil or cut the antenna.
Warning: The real control range as much as the reliability will be influenced when the power supply for receiver is under normal level or power supply not stable. In order to fly the model more stably and reliably, we recommend the use of CP01 power stabilizer. Connect the power stabilizer to any free channel of the receiver, you will have a more comfortable and happy remote controlling.

Description

The Parabolic is a fast electric-powered aerobatic glider whose versatility will appeal to the advanced pilot in particular. After a brisk climb, this agile model is capable of all aerobatic manoeuvres such as loops, rolls, stall turns, inverted flight, reversals and Immelmann turns. The Eppler 374 (mod.) wing section and broad wing chord make a significant contribution to the model’s wide speed range, which means that it also offers good slow flying characteristics. The fuselage nose is fitted with injection-moulded plastic parts to provide additional protection from landing damage.
If you prefer pure gliding at the slope, you can simply remove the propeller and fit a substitute “glider nose”, while up to 300 g of ballast can be loaded at the Centre of Gravity for flying in strong winds and for fast soaring at the slope. With the extra penetration afforded by the ballast, the Parabolic becomes a real slope racer.

Thank you for purchasing our Corona 2.4Ghz RF transmitter module & receiver. In order to fully utilize the performance potential of this system, we suggest you first read the manual.

Using the Corona 2.4GHz system

1. Our new Corona 2.4GHz transmitter module and receiver are designed to completely eliminate radio interference and glitches which have troubled model hobbyists for years. The software designed exclusively for the transmitting module and receiver instantly locates and assigns safe and protected channels. Other flyers in the area can not create interference that normally would corrupt transmitter signals. The Corona 2.4GHz adheres strictly to Frequency-Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) communication standards by constantly switching across a wide band of frequencies. Combining Corona’s software with FHSS we have designed a transmitter and receiver capable of providing modelers the highest performing radio system available.

The new lightweight, advanced technology unit has the following features:
1. Extended operating range 1.5 km range, which has been tested in a real flying environment.

2. A 3dbi gain transmitting antenna ensures the wave lengths are evenly distributed throughout the transmitting horizon ensuring the stable signal.

3. One-key user friendly setup mode.

4. Perfect receiver antennas guarantee the plane receives the signal regardless of the maneuver or attitude.

5. The unique receiver design makes the Corona module easy to install and ensures reliability.

6. Corona's advanced needle design ensures the lightest possible receiver

Installation of transmitting module

1. Remove the original transmitting module (See figure 1)

Transmitting and receiving communication setup

Installation of receivers
As the wave length of 2.4GHz is shorter, its ability to go around obstacles is weaker than receivers whose frequency is below the 100MHz .Therefore, when you install the antenna, you must avoid objects with high conductivity such as; metal parts, servos, ESC’s, battery, wires, and carbon fiber structures. If possible put the end of the antenna outside of the fuselage.

Receiver and Transmitter Setup Instructions
By following these steps you will ensure your transmitter and receiver are properly setup and ready to fly.
1. Turn the transmitter on and adjust your transmitter to PPM mode and then turn the transmitter off.
2. Press and hold the programming button on the transmitting module,turn the transmitter on,then you can release the button.(Attention: Not keep hold the button down over 3 seconds,or its ID will change randomly) The LED on Module will flash between red and green indicating the transmitter is ready to bind with the receiver.
3. Press and hold the button on the receiver and power the receiver on. The LED on the receiver will flash two times , indicating the receiver have recognized the transmitter. Turn off the transmitter and receiver.
4.Power on the receiver(s) without pressing any button,then power up the transmitter also without pressing button, the LED on the transmitter light yellow. The RF-link will normally connect in 15~20 seconds between transmitter and the receiver(s).If linked the LED on the receiver(s) will light red without any flash indicating the receiver(s) is operating properly. If the LED flashes sometime or does not light at all. Repeat this step until link is connected properly.

After set up receiver and transmitter,user only take the 4th step in normal flying.

This is necessary for safe operation and must be incorporated into your setup and pre-flight operations.

Failsafe setting for receiver
When RF linked between transmitter and receiver(LED on receiver light on,and all servos under controll)

Caution must be exercised when using the unit in an environment that consists of metal fences, concrete buildings, or rows of trees. In this environment you may experience unexpected radio wave multipath interference.

You must conduct a range check as follows (Note this is done with the receiver out of the plane):

1. Place the receivers at least two feet (60cm) above non-metal contaminated ground; for example a wooden bench.

2. Fix the antenna of receiver horizontally. Don’t let antenna touch the ground.

3. Connect a servo to channel one.

4. Place the antenna of the transmitter in a vertical position.

5. Turn on the transmitter and receiver and walk away from receiver while moving the stick which controls channel one. Ask someone to check the distance at which the servo doesn’t respond.


Attention: Controlling distance is greatly related to the transmitter power, please use freshly charged battery packs when you conduct the test. Controlling distance is affected by environment too. Please test it in the open away from any obstacles. The controlling distance in the air is greater than that on the ground. Our controlling range is based on a conservative ground test.

Thank you for purchasing our Corona 2.4Ghz DIY RF transmitter module & receiver. In order to fully utilize the performance potential of this system, we suggest you first read the manual.
Using the Corona 2.4GHz DIY system
Corona 2.4GHz DIY system including the Components below:
Transmitting board,Extend board,3 color line,4 color line, Antenna connector,Transmitter antenna,Instruction Manual,Paper marker, screws,nuts, washers.
Corona 2.4GHz DIY system will work with Corona’s receiver of CR2D, CR3D, CR4D, CR6D and CR8D
1. The Corona 2.4GHz DIY transmitter module and receiver are designed to completely eliminate radio interference and glitches which have troubled model hobbyists for years. The software designed exclusively for the transmitting module and receiver instantly locates and assigns safe and protected channels. Other flyers in the area can not create interference that normally would corrupt transmitter signals. The Corona 2.4GHz adheres strictly to Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) communication standards by constantly switching across a wide band of frequencies. Combining Corona’s software with FHSS we have designed a transmitter and receiver capable of providing modelers the highest performing radio system available.

The new lightweight, advanced technology unit has the following features:
1. Extended operating range 1.5 km range, which has been tested in a real flying environment.
2. A 3dbi gain transmitting antenna ensures the wave lengths are evenly distributed throughout the transmitting horizon ensuring the stable signal.
3. One-key user friendly setup mode.
4. Perfect receiver antennas guarantee the plane receives the signal regardless of the maneuver or attitude.
5. The unique receiver design makes the Corona module easy to install and ensures reliability.

Installation the 2.4GHz DIY transmitting module
1. Open the transmitter,find out the Battery power supply line,PPM signal line,and the GND.You can find out Battery power supply line just behind the power switch use a voltage meter and find out the PPM signal with an oscillograph.
2. Take the order, solder the PPM signal line,Battery power supply line,GND to the DIY transmitting module(left up corner of the Figure1 )

3. Drill four holes on the transmitter as the paper marker guided,two holes on diagonal is designed for screw installation,the other two for dual color LED and the button.Put the paper marker on the outside of transmitter where the internal space is free to fix the extend board(Figure2) and Drill the four holes.

4. Solder the 4 color lines between transmitting board and the extend board take the order guided by the screen painting.
5. Solder the antenna connector at the port ANT on transmitting board.
6. Drill a hole for antenna connector at the space free on the transmitter.The diameter is 7mm is suitable.Fix the antenna connector like Figure 3.

7. Fix the transmitter antenna on the connector .Turn the transmitter power on and check the power indicator LED of DIY extend board,the LED is normally light red.
Transmitting and receiving communication setup
Installation of receivers
As the wave length of 2.4GHz is shorter, its ability to go around obstacles is weaker than receivers whose frequency is below the 100MHz .Therefore, when you install the antenna, you must avoid objects with high conductivity such as; metal parts, servos, ESC’s, battery, wires, and carbon fiber structures. If possible put the end of the antenna outside of the fuselage.
Receiver and Transmitter Setup Instructions
By following these steps you will ensure your transmitter and receiver are properly setup and ready to fly.
1. Turn the transmitter on and adjust your transmitter to PPM mode and then turn the transmitter off.
2. Press and hold the programming button on the transmitting module,turn the transmitter on,then you can release the button.(Attention: Not keep hold the button down over 3 seconds,or its ID will change randomly) The LED on Module will flash between red and green indicating the transmitter is ready to bind with the receiver.
3. Press and hold the button on the receiver and power the receiver on. The LED on the receiver will flash two times , indicating the receiver have recognized the transmitter. Turn off the transmitter and receiver.
4.Power on the receiver(s) without pressing any button,then power up the transmitter also without pressing button, the LED on the transmitter light yellow. The RF-link will normally connect in 15~20 seconds between transmitter and the receiver(s).If linked the LED on the receiver(s) will light red without any flash indicating the receiver(s) is operating properly. If the LED flashes sometime or does not light at all. Repeat this step until link is connected properly.
After set up receiver and transmitter,user only take the 4th step in normal flying.

Installation of transmitting module

1. Remove the original transmitting module
2. Put the Corona 2.4 G transmitting module into the module port (See figure 1)

4. Turn the transmitter power on,check the power indicators and make sure transmitter is in the PPM mode.( See figure 2)

Failsafe setting for receiver
When RF linked between transmitter and receiver(LED on receiver light on,and all servos under controll)

Caution must be exercised when using the unit in an environment that consists of metal fences, concrete buildings, or rows of trees. In this environment you may experience unexpected radio wave multipath interference.

You must conduct a range check as follows (Note this is done with the receiver out of the plane):

1. Place the receivers at least two feet (60cm) above non-metal contaminated ground; for example a wooden bench.

2. Fix the antenna of receiver horizontally. Don’t let antenna touch the ground.

3. Connect a servo to channel one.

4. Place the antenna of the transmitter in a vertical position.

5. Turn on the transmitter and receiver and walk away from receiver while moving the stick which controls channel one. Ask someone to check the distance at which the servo doesn’t respond.


Attention: Controlling distance is greatly related to the transmitter power, please use freshly charged battery packs when you conduct the test. Controlling distance is affected by environment too. Please test it in the open away from any obstacles. The controlling distance in the air is greater than that on the ground. Our controlling range is based on a conservative ground test.

Using the Corona 2.4GHz system

1. new 2.4GHz transmitter module and receiver are designed to completely eliminate radio interference and glitches which have troubled model hobbyists for years. The software designed exclusively for the transmitting module and receiver instantly locates and assigns safe and protected channels. Other flyers in the area can not create interference that normally would corrupt transmitter signals. The Corona 2.4GHz adheres strictly to Frequency-Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) communication standards by constantly switching across a wide band of frequencies. Combining Corona’s software with FHSS we have designed a transmitter and receiver capable of providing modelers the highest performing radio system available.

Installation of transmitting module

1. Remove the original transmitting module (See figure 1)

Installation of receivers
As the wave length of 2.4GHz is shorter, its ability to go around obstacles is weaker than receivers whose frequency is below the 100MHz .Therefore, when you install the antenna, you must avoid objects with high conductivity such as; metal parts, servos, ESC’s, battery, wires, and carbon fiber structures. If possible put the end of the antenna outside of the fuselage.

Receiver and Transmitter Setup Instructions
By following these steps you will ensure your transmitter and receiver are properly setup and ready to fly.
1. Turn the transmitter on and adjust your transmitter to PPM mode and then turn the transmitter off.
2. Press and hold the programming button on the transmitting module,turn the transmitter on,then you can release the button.(Attention: Not keep hold the button down over 3 seconds,or its ID will change randomly) The LED on Module will flash between red and green indicating the transmitter is ready to bind with the receiver.
3. Press and hold the button on the receiver and power the receiver on. The LED on the receiver will flash two times , indicating the receiver have recognized the transmitter. Turn off the transmitter and receiver.
4.Power on the receiver(s) without pressing any button,then power up the transmitter also without pressing button, the LED on the transmitter light yellow. The RF-link will normally connect in 15~20 seconds between transmitter and the receiver(s).If linked the LED on the receiver(s) will light red without any flash indicating the receiver(s) is operating properly. If the LED flashes sometime or does not light at all. Repeat this step until link is connected properly.

After set up receiver and transmitter,user only take the 4th step in normal flying.

This is necessary for safe operation and must be incorporated into your setup and pre-flight operations.

Failsafe setting for receiver
When RF linked between transmitter and receiver(LED on receiver light on,and all servos under controll)

Caution must be exercised when using the unit in an environment that consists of metal fences, concrete buildings, or rows of trees. In this environment you may experience unexpected radio wave multipath interference.

You must conduct a range check as follows (Note this is done with the receiver out of the plane):

1. Place the receivers at least two feet (60cm) above non-metal contaminated ground; for example a wooden bench.

2. Fix the antenna of receiver horizontally. Don’t let antenna touch the ground.

3. Connect a servo to channel one.

4. Place the antenna of the transmitter in a vertical position.

5. Turn on the transmitter and receiver and walk away from receiver while moving the stick which controls channel one. Ask someone to check the distance at which the servo doesn’t respond.


Attention: Controlling distance is greatly related to the transmitter power, please use freshly charged battery packs when you conduct the test. Controlling distance is affected by environment too. Please test it in the open away from any obstacles. The controlling distance in the air is greater than that on the ground. Our controlling range is based on a conservative ground test.

Individual voltage balancer for Lithium batteries

B6V8 has an individual cell voltage balancer inside. So it does not need any balancer separately when charging Lithium batteries (LiIo/LiPo/LiFe) for voltage balancing.

Accept various types of Lithium battery

B6V8 can accept three types of Lithium batteries - LiIo, LiPo and LiFe. They have different characteristics by their chemistry. You can select any one of them that you are going to process before the job. For their specifications, refer 'Warnings and safety notes' section.

Lithium battery 'Fast' and 'Storage' mode

You can charge Lithium battery for special purposes. 'Fast' charge reduces the charging time of Lithium battery and 'Storage' mode controls the final voltage of the battery to be suit for long time storage.

Maximum safety

Delta-peak sensitivity : The automatic charge termination program works on the principle of the Delta-peak voltage detection. (NiCd/NiMH)

Auto-charge current limit : When charging NiCd or NiMH at 'AUTO' current mode, you can set the upper limit of charge current to avoid from feeding high current to the battery. This is very useful when charging the low impedance and small capacity NiMH battery in 'AUTO' mode.

Capacity limit : The charging capacity always calculated by multiple of the charging current and time. If the charging capacity exceeds the limit the process will be terminated automatically when you set the maximum value.

Data store/load

For users convenience it can store maximum 5 data of different batteries. You can establish the data contains program setting of the battery to charge or discharge continually. These data can be called out at any time you need and the process can be executed without program setting.

Cyclic charging/discharging

Perform 1 to 5 cycles of charge>discharge or discharge>charge continually for battery refreshing and balancing.

PC based analysis using USB communication

Every operating program in the unit is controlled with mutual links and communications to prevent every possible error, so it introduces the maximum safety, such as input voltage warning, reverse polarity protection and Lithium cell-count input error warning.

High-power and high-performance circuit

B610A employs the circuit that has maximum output power of 200Watts. As a result, it can charge or discharge up to 18 cells of NiCd/NiMH and 6 series of Lithium batteries with maximum current of 10A. Furthermore, the cooling system is so efficient that can hold such a power without any trouble of running the circuit or the operating program.

Individual voltage balancer for Lithium batteries inside

B610A has an individual-cell-voltage balancer inside. So it does not need any balancer separately when charging Lithium batteries (LiIo/LiPo/LiFe) for cell voltage balancing.

** When the 'Balance charge' mode being performed, the balancing adapter should be connected to the balancing tab of battery pack, as well as the charger's charging lead should be connected to the output of battery pack.

And also, please pay attention to the polarity of the battery pack's output which goes to the charger's output. If it is reversed, the short-circuit can be happened on the battery pack.

Accept various types of Lithium battery

BC8 can accept three types of Lithium batteries - LiIo, LiPo and LiFe. They have different characteristics by their chemistry. You can select any one of them that you are going to process before the job.

Lithium battery 'Fast' and 'Storage' mode

You can charge Lithium battery for special purposes. 'Fast' charge reduces the charging time of Lithium battery and 'Storage mode controls the final voltage of the battery to be suit for long time storage.

Data store/load

For users convenience it can store maximum 10 data of different batteries. You can establish the data contains program setting of the battery to charge or discharge continually. These data can be called out at any time you need and the process can be executed without program setting.

Cyclic charging/discharging

Perform 1 to 5 cycles of charge>discharge or discharge>charge continually for battery refreshing and balancing.

PC based analysis using USB communication

For technical expert, BC6-10 offers PC based program can analysis the characteristic of the battery by USB port. It shows a graph of voltage, current, capacity and temperature curves. It also shows the individual voltage of each cell in the Lithium battery pack.

TWO-METER is a very sophisticated electronic device that controlled by high performance microprocessor and precise resistors. It has three functions of ‘watt-meter’, ‘battery checker’ and self-balancer. Those functions are essential for electric flyers to ensure safe battery condition and to measure the electric consumptions of the power system. And also, the built-in self-balancer can equalize the individual voltages instantly.

TWO-METER can handle all types of Lithium batteries(LiPo, LiIo, LiFe) consisting of series-wired cells, but the battery pack has to have a balancing plug for checking voltages.

- Watt-meter program

The Watt-meter circuit can measure the electric current up to 100A. You can verify the electric consumptions on your power system.

- Battery checker

TWO-METER can show you the voltage and residual capacity of your Lithium battery pack with its individual voltage of each cells.

- Integrated self-balancer

TWO-METER has an integrated self-balancing circuit which is self-operative without linking to charger. When you connect the battery pack to the individual port of the device the balancing job will be started instantly. In this case the individual cell voltages will be equalised to the lowest cell voltage of the battery pack.
